Wildcraft Community Fund is the nonprofit heart behind Wildcraft Farmers Market — funding SNAP matching, Senior Bucks, and family programming so a Saturday morning at the market is open to everyone, no matter the budget.

OUR MISSION

Rooted in reciprocity.

Farmers markets have always been more than a place to buy food. They are where communities gather, neighbors reconnect, kids discover where carrots come from, and musicians fill the air with something worth staying for. Wildcraft Community Fund exists to make sure everyone has a seat at that table.
Named for the ancient practice of harvesting from the natural world with intention and reciprocity, we work to expand access to fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables at Wildcraft Farmers Market for low-income individuals, children, and seniors in the communities we serve. We fund our own SNAP matching program to increase shoppers' buying power, Senior Bucks and dedicated senior shopping hours, and family and children's programming.

Because a community gathering place only works when the whole community can gather.

THE NUMBERS

Our impact, season by season

Every SNAP and Double Up dollar went directly back into the hands of neighbors shopping the market — stretching grocery budgets further at the farmers, ranchers, and makers tables that need it most.

2025-26 SEASON

Over $20,000 in SNAP and Double Up Bucks distributed over 22 markets (government shutdown affected two markets)
415 Individuals and Families Supported

2024-25 SEASON

Over $17,000 in SNAP and Double Up Bucks was distributed over 24 markets to
330 Individuals and Families

A 16% INCREASE EVEN WITH 3 FEWER MARKETS DUE TO GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN!

FOOD ACCESS MATCHING PROGRAM

We are proud to offer SNAP/EBT access for low-income households that qualify and we match up to $20 in Market Bucks each week to give individuals and families more buying power for food staples.​ Every $20 donated helps feed one household in need.
LOCAL MUSIC PROGRAM

Music creates a fun shopping experience and we want to support our local muscians with a living wage for their talents. Every $35 donated pays for hour of music. 
SENIOR SATURDAYS PROGRAM

On the first Saturday of each month, we give our seniors 65 and older $20 in market bucks to spend on food staples from local makers.
Every $20 helps feed one senior in need!
COMMUNITY CONNECT FUND

Whether it's a pet talent contest or a kid's activity, we love bringing our community together! A donation to this fund helps cover operating, materials, and marketing to bring awareness to the events.

Volunteer with Us!

We have lots of opportunities for volunteers every Saturday. Come help us with set-up, connect with kids at the activity center, answer questions during the market, or help with checkout and tear down.
We will release forms to sign up starting in October.

Wildcraft Community Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. An email with a donation letter and receipt will go out in January for all donations during the previous fiscal year.
